PP or PHNOM PENH life

PP or PHNOM PENH life

UPDATE- Living in Phnom Penh for the last 3 months, already. WHAT !!!!?

OK,I will share the personal best choices to go out and great, trendy, healthy places to hang out in PP.

COFFEE SHOPS:

1.'VIBE' by 'Vibe Asia' http://www.vibecafeasia.com in Tuol Tom Poung area, near to Russian Market, Str. 446.
Cacao smoothie bawl
It's vegan, healthy, eco-friendly, organic, natural place- you know all that jazz. I know I know it's very trendy nowadays all the smoothie bawls, macha lattes, bliss balls etc. But really you start missing something white, clean, healthy and these guys investing 10% of their profits to the Good Vibe Foundation, supporting healthy projects. So yay for my Instagram and yay I am supporter of the good cause!

2. 'ARTillery' Located next to popular tourist destination- street 240, it's kinda of in the back of it, on St. 240 ½ http://artillerycafe.com
Ma favorite eggsssss
One more vegan, vegetarian, natural cafe.  Because it's located in the back of the street I find it quiet and cozy place to sit outside in their little yard and enjoy their Eggs Benedict with avocados. They have big selection of healthy bowls and in the same time promoting local artist by exhibiting their works.
ARTillery vibes

3. 'Eleven One Kitchen' located not so far from Russian market in Tuol Tom Poung area, Street 123/ 460  and now they have new location in BKK1 as well.

Best tofu salad in '11 One kitchen'
Cozy, gardeny feeling, super nice staff, menu is Khmer( Cambodian ) and Western,  is fresh and healthy, they claiming all food is MSG free, I believe them :)
This cafe style restaurant serves alcohol so you can try their cocktails for around $3 each, I haven't yet. Anyway I find this place super cheap & friendly.

4. 'Tini' street 450 near to Russian Market as well, sorry- not sorry, I just live in the area.
Cozy, small-Tini
With this one I wasn't sure where to put it cos it turns to the little bar after sun goes down. Yes, the place is Tini-tiny, supporting local arts, good coffee and good vibes indeed, as I haven't visited at night I will put it to favorite cafes 'part':)

LET'S MOVE TO THE AFTER 6PM. FAVORITES:

1. 'Le Boutier' located on Street 308, next to Bassac Lane. http://www.leboutier.com
Bright and welcoming
It's a cocktail bar inspired by 60's Cambodian rock n' roll-Golden age, where bartenders/mixologist (whatever you want to call them) knows what they are doing. The glass building takes 3 floors on the ground is beautiful bright bar, and the rest is lounges to enjoy the drink or 2 so you can find your favorite to hang out.
Relaxing rooftop lounge

2. 'DEVA-lounge.bar.restaurant' located on  Mao Tse Toung Blvd (245) /St. 63 https://www.facebook.com/deva.lounge.bar.restaurant/
Cocktails with the skyline
It's easy to miss, the venue located on the top of office kinda building and there is no advertising outside. Quiet rooftop lounge, bar and restaurant, I mean they have inside and outside areas as well so you can choose, what prefer incase of the rain:). I find other rooftop bars mostly on river side, dirty and old fashioned, but this one is stylish and fantastic place to chill with friends.

3.'Bouchon Wine Bar' Located on street 174 https://www.facebook.com/bouchonwinebar/
Bouchon has the garden too
The name speaks for itself- is French wine restaurant. Well known to everyone, as been opened over 6 years already, they have good name and nice clientele. Local and Western community loves to enjoy beautiful wines and French cuisine while listening to live music on Wednesdays, especially.

Elbow room from outside
4. 'Elbow Room' on street 308, next to Basic Lane as well https://www.facebook.com/elbowrm/
Elbow vibes
Tiny and dark, definitely has the different ambience and I love it. It's different as any other places and cocktails are high class too. Must to visit! *don't be afraid to open the metal doors;)

5. 'Bar Sito' street 240 ½ Alleyway, next to 'Artillery cafe' mentioned above. https://www.facebook.com/pg/Bar.sito.asia/about/?ref=page_internal
'Speak easy' atmosphere
First speakeasy bar in Cambodia. Great atmosphere, delicious cocktails, best to visit on Thursday night after 11pm ;)

Perfectly small and dark

6. This one for a Whiskey Lovers 'Odin' bar is tiny Japanese whiskey bar, located on street 282 https://www.facebook.com/barodinpp/
Obviously they do much more than just Japanese whiskeys, they have some amazing old single malts , some crazy limited editions and the bartender Ryoichi one of the kind, knows his sh.. and his hospitality would leave you wanting to go back again and again.

So far that's all from me and PP

Peace xx
