SMALL BIT OF INDIA

I needed India in my life;
I needed to brake my perfect, super clean, splashy Dubai life;
I needed to see more of India (I visited Mumbai for 4 days last year for my friends wedding party);
I needed to visit after reading quiet a bit of 'Osho';
I needed to go to yoga retreat and it had to be in India.
Goa was the perfect place to go and explore India on my own for the first real time. I believe I found the best yoga retreat in that area. I can easily say it changed my view to yoga. My understatement before was so plane and western, as I knew yoga just as the type of exercise and kind of meditation. I had no idea about different aspects. I didn't understand what is yoga, which makes me feel kind of embarrassed right now.

It was truly MAGICAL. The experience I had, the people I met, the feelings- happiness I felt. It was pure magic. I am talking about SWAN yoga retreat, the place I would recommend to every single human being on earth to visit.
'SWAN' is located in Assagoa area on the edge of jungles, which makes it super quiet and mysterious in the way. Wild life is breathing into the back everyday, which makes you feel closer to nature and yourself. We used to wake up 6am every morning for meditation followed by morning tea with fruits and yoga. After that was brunch time, yoga philosophy or yoga Nedra, free time, which I spent reading and educating myself with more yoga secrets, after afternoon yoga class followed by some chanting and dinner which we enjoyed the most sitting and getting to know each other and sharing our life stories. 8 days passed so fast and so slow in the same time.

Arambol didn't felt cosy and safe, maybe after all Swan's experience, it didn't feel right to me. It was overwhelming. All I was seeing was piles of rubbish everywhere, crazy Indian man, annoying sellers, homeless groups of dogs on the beach, Russian hippies trying to escape from the reality and every street was turned to market or shop for tourists. I knew it was time to go, I had enough of India for this time. To be honest, I was glad to leave.
